Bill, The set I have is held on with clips that go between the window channel and the window frame. The directions say to pull the channel out of the frame, install the vent shades, and put the channel back into place. Matt On 12/27/2008 8:06 PM, WILLIAM SERCKIE spouted this sage advice: > Hey Guy's, > > For Christmas, my loving wife bought me a set of vent shades from American Parts Depot to be used on my 1965 American. I went to put them on today, (it's 65 degrees in Chicago today !!!) and the fit into the window channel but will not stay in place. The set appears to be an NOS set. My question is ...I don't thik there should be any hardware but does anyone remember if the came with any sort of mounting adhesive strips ? I used to put these on all of my cars in the 1970's but don't remember ever having a problem keeping them in place. > > Thanks, > > Bill > > > > > Bill Serckie > Coldwell Banker Real Estate & Mortgage Services > 2 River Place Suite "K" > Lansing, IL 60438 > > Office # (708) 889-2739 > Fax # (708) 360-5787 > Cell # (773) 251-5234 > -------------- next part -------------- > An HTML attachment was scrubbed... > URL: http://splatter.wps.com/pipermail/amc-list/attachments/20081227/c008c4bd/attachment.htm > _______________________________________________ > Amc-list mailing list > Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx > http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list > > > -- mhaas@xxxxxxx Cincinnati, OH http://www.mattsoldcars.com 1967 Rambler American wagon 1968 Rambler American sedan ================================================================= According to a February 2003 survey of Internet holdouts released by UCLA's Center for Communication Policy, people cite not having a computer as the No. 1 reason they won't go online. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
