I was wondering about that too Mark.
A couple years ago Eddie Stakes sent me a set of pedals that was supposed to
be from a 68 or 69 Javelin or AMX. I compared them to the pedals for a 70
through 74 Javelin and AMX body. They are not the same. The pedals had a
slight different bend in them.  I also had a 1979 Spirit AMX, and the pedals
for that are not the same as the 70 to 74 Javelin AMX pedals or I would have
kept them and used them in the white 70 Javelin instead of searching all
over to find a set.
I don't think the pedals are interchangeable from the small body Gremlin,
Spirit, Hornet into the larger body Javelin, Matador, Rebel, I seem to
remember asking some one about that or something. The big body cars may all
be interchangeable 1970 and after.
Has any one ever seen an Ambassador or Matador with a manual transmission??
Rebel Machine yeah but Matador??
