Ah! Of course! ANd this is an AMC six weakness. I always have a 
noticable 1&6 lean difference on all of 'em.

Except, oddly, the 195.6ov. OK it's a crappy old motor, but check out 
these plugs, lined up 1 to 6 left to right:

3 and 5 are the same, it's just rotated to the hot side of the plug.

YOu can even see the center electrode wear, these are not new plugs!

OK it's not scientific, but the previous set had the same color spread 
-- none. Maybe it's not that the cylinders are all getting good mixture, 
but they're at least all getting the same poor mixture! Nash did many 
things right on this motor.
