Should have read more of the digest before posting last time! That's what I have it listed as also -- a 401 crank. Didn't have the year, but if it had a BW flange it's obviously a 71. I'll make a note of that!

Just confirmed the forging # with the machinist ? 3214725 ? which checks out as a 71 401 crank at:??
