Yeah? It's something I have no experience with, and have never seen it 
done. The last thing I need is to screw up this nice if leaky motor! The 
lazy part of me wants to just wait and swap in the new one next year.

Yeah, I know that by now! There seems to be NO, ZERO performance 6 cyl 
Delcos, even the GM inliners crowd doesn't have them. I would have to 
fabricate one, like turn or weld HEI guts into a Delco body. Or, go all 
software... which would be waaaaay off since I just last weekend got my 
AutoPROM box to talk to a computer and haven't even tuned up the Howell 
kit onthe Classic yet, never mind begun to stick TBI EFI junk onto the 
Nash motor...
