I don't know ....Flashomatic sounds a lot like the old Bass-o-matic on Saturday Night Live.  I can still picture that fish getting pureed.  I think I'd go with the Shift Command.  

Pull the convertor out and see.  If it will hurt your should, ask you wife to do it.  :)
