A: I'm trying to troubleshoot one now in Brian's '68 Travelall. The BG241 6 cyl uses a Delco style dist and GM 6 cyl points conversion. Runs excellent off idle, but for no reason suddenly shuts off when idling or coming to an idle. (only way I can get it to run again is stomp the gas while still rolling in gear)

I called Pertronix Technical Support. I'm guessing it's just with the
magnet - I'm either not pressing it down far enough, or I might have
to lose the lip. I'll wait for a call back. Thanks for the info on how
your's works, that helped me figure out where I'm running into
trouble.
