Yeah, true to an extent.
I have seen some really F***ed up Camaros in my day!
They were not exempt! 
Once saw a burgandy metalflaked 68 with etched rear 1/4 windows of deer hunting scenes!
The exhaust went straight back UNDER the rear axle to glasspacks hanging low at the rear of the car. 
Shackles too!
Entire interior was covered in burgandy and gray fake animal hair bathroom rugs of the 70's!
The guy who owned it thought it was BAD... He was correct.

That 64 may have a bad case of design on a dime [uh,bag of crack, maybe]...
But it sure looks like it's got "good bones"
$1,000 ain't  squat for a nice body anything around here.
I'd buy it a second if it is solid and here!

Like I said the 64 Classic Hardtop has always been a fav of mine!
