I can't picture this wondrous device, I await photos... bumping metal is 
a mystery to me, I spoze I ought to poke at it one day.

We have one of those 36" bench type brakes in our fab shop. I don't find 
it that useful; now a box brake would be great! We do have a 48" shear 
we got for free because some bozo tried to cut rod with it. Gotta fine 
someone to grind the blades square again.
