Todd, that depends.
If the value is $25 or less, I think it comes in with no other charges.
Over $25, you're charged Federal tax which is expected up here.
They get us on everything.
However, I have just recently had a package valued at $100 go through the 
Post Office without any charges.
I think someone at the PO slipped up.
I ask people to ship to me by USPS if possible, unfortunately it is more 
expensive than UPS and FedEx when it comes to large packages.
