Re: [Amc-list] 85 Jeep Cherokee/Wagoneer question

All the 2.8L GM V-6s used by Jeep were carbureted. Easy enough to upgrade to EFI using junkyard parts from a 2.8, 3.1, or 3.4. The good thing is that any of the three will bolt right into the Jeep. You will need one from a Camaro/Firebird or S-10/Blazer (rear drive), of course.

I was never very impressed with that motor. I had a GMC Jimmy that had one.
It always seemed underpowered. I would much rather have a Cherokee with the
4.0L.
