Re: [Amc-list] Need upper rad hose for 86 CJ w/258 and serpentinebelt

When I did the 4.0L into the American with the 4.0L's angled neck I just took a mockup of what Ineeded in to advance american and started scrounging.
First store sucked, guy was an assa nd little to no help.
Second store guy was wonderfull, took his time, toiok me back and we looked for 30 minutes or better till we matched up useable upper and lower hoses.
So, if you have ot go that route, try more than one store!
Even if they are the same chain!

You could always build a steel hose, but that could be a little involved.
Seen it done before. Painted exterior to match engine, hose connectors on both ends.
Guy just used standard exhaust tubing and some cutt and weld for the tighter sections.
