Hmm... a shorter trans could be dealt with bay making a short shaft to go between the TT shaft and trans. But Tom might want to talk to a machine shop. The torque tube itself is easy to shorten, the solid shaft inside is tough. But any shop that can shorten and respline axles can do the same to either end of the shaft in the TT. That or get a V-8 axle and TT and shorten the shaft -- V-8s used a two piece shaft with the front part tubular, easy to shorten the tube part.

amazing!  isn't the bw35 the same length as a t96?  on americans ['64-9
at least] the t14 is ~2" -shorter-!
