Re: [Amc-list] Lucky today I hope

That's a bummer on the noise.
Ho's the pressure?
If it's intermitant and not a deep noise, I'd suspect possibly the gas softened some "gunk" in the lifters and they are intermitantly plugging and collapsing or losing preload.
I had a fraud that did the same thing years ago, ever few days it would rattle and even occasionaly miss, then in a few moments it went back to normal.
check you oil pressure first.
We had quite a fe instances of fueled oil in the old days, we did not have any problems with them wiping bearings.
However if it did, I'd go in it for rings and bearings with the engine out.
Bearings in the car are a PIA and those rings have been squeezed in the cylinders for many years.

Staying on topic, I've not had a lucky day, something to do with our flip flopping spring weather patterns I hope.
Stupid shoulder hurts and I've not pushed it lately. Got me bummed and ticked off, I really would like to get some thing started.
Either the T-5 or the stroker shortblock and I just don't dare. I got a long week heading into commencement, last thing I need is to spend it in pain.
I tried vodka last night, it helped a little, Corona light and little lime for the fruit juice and vitamins tonight, yeah that'll help...
