i heard that you can use a small block ford roller rocker in a amc. what mods would i need to do? i'am thanking about useing the stock 401 heads and get a mild cam for it. and put together so it well run again.

Your're talking CRANE roller rockers ?

What year are the 401 cylinder heads ?

Check the rockers in there to see if they
are stud rockers or bridged rockers.

Some machining work is done to even up
the mounting areas - these run pushrod 
guides.

& put the bucks here.

Nick Alfano can advise you on Timing
Chain Kits that have his anti-walk
package built in for the Roller Cams.



Freshening the engine is the best way
to go.
