Re: [Amc-list] 1965 Rambler American Interior

Interior styles for the 64-9 American were so swappable back and forth, left and right, that starting with the SC/Rambler would be the best move as that is the most bang for the buck. They could expand from there if the market holds up.
Those of us with the 65 SC/Rambler (????) could run the door panels and upholstery, and just live with it. Unless I was are going for the Pebble Beach crowd I think a first rate 69 interior looks better than a second rate 65 interior in my own 65. The seats are the same if you go the wide buckets and the narrow ones can be monkeyed with by a competant sewer. The rear seats on the hdtps are all the same.
Dash pads can be done by Just Dashs (65 did have a pad available. My 64 has one and the dashs are the same, so just drill for a 64 pad. If you are so inclined to put the 69 dash in your 64-6 car, it bolts right in as I ran one in my 64 440-H.
Carpets are all the same and they can be gotten anywhere, even JC Whitney. So someone who has their ear, please contact Legendary and talk to em....Russ
