Mark,

The can is pressurize and dispense in a nice bead (don't go crazy as you don't need a ton).  Clean both surfaces first and then add a bead around the entire mounting surface including the bolt holes.  Put the pan in place up against the trans and start each bolt hand tight.  This will flatten out the sealant.  Now torque to spec.  Don't need to wait for the sealant to set up.  It is intended to be used immediately.

Any tricks to using this stuff?
I bought a container of it for the rear diff in the American.
Haven't had time to do it yet.
