I checked the wire that goes into he connector that attaches to my fuel sending unit. The wire is cut, and not making contact - therefore the fuel gauge doesn't work. I tried stripping a small section of the wire, popping it into a wire terminal, crimpoing it - then attaching that to the connector on the fuel sending unit. It looks like there is a current (the fuel guage now moves a little bit when I turn the key) - but it doesn't change when I add fuel to the fuel tank. I'm guessing I just messed up the terminal. Is there any "trick" to it? Should I use a specific connector? Is something like the original connector (looks like a seriously unersized spark plug boot) available? Or should I simply double check where I stripped the wire, crimped to the connector then attached to the sending unit? _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
