Points triggering an MSD is different from them firing a coil directly.
But, that being said I would not install that system.
point bounce issues will likely come into play at higher rpm ranges.
Maybe not.
In reality its a personal choice on his part.
Same as running drum brakes when there is not any real reason to put the money into repairing a set anymore.
