Re: [Amc-list] big a** wrenches

Tom,

Try your local rent all center, give them a call, they may "rent" a 1-3/4
inch socket and giant 3/4 or inch drive breaker bar. You need a king daddy
torque wrench any way to re-torque this stuff.

Better yet if you know a guy that works for a Chrysler Jeep
dealer..........they had to mess with this stuff all the time.....

When I was concerned about the "torque" on my nuts (he he he) (quit laughing
you guys) I asked my buddy who works for a Chrysler Jeep dealer, he came
over with a 1-3/4 inch socket and a king daddy torque wrench.
We broke the nuts loose and re-torqued them to about 275 ft lbs. in about
ten minutes.

A big socket works much better than the wrench. You'll thank yourself for
not busting up your knuckles.

Armand
