I had never heard of copper head gaskets; in any case, I have never known of
ANY headgasket, following being 'in service' for ANY length of time which
would be re-used.  None.
Header Gaskets?  Different ball of wax.  If they aren't crushed and appear
fairly 'intact', and the surfaces which 'mate' to it are unchanged (as
opposed to, say manifold FLANGEs which could 'reset' depending how they are
tightened, reusing the gasket ought be fine.  When I reuse a gasket I'm most
likely to add a few extra ft-lbs (or inch-lbs depending where the
application is) of torque to assure good seating.  And most often, the
outcome is none the worse for it.
But Copper Head gasket?  Do these exist?
