Purple power? (related to Castrol Super Clean somehow) I used brake cleaner or tide detergent and water to degrease stuff I was going to paint (did my dash pad of my '66 Fairlane from faded white/cig smoke stain to black by cleaning with Castrol then rinsing twice with water before painting)

Maybe  Simple Green sprayed on it would dissolve the WD40 and Blaster. There 
is some Purple cleaner that is supposed to work well also. I can't recall 
the trade name though.
