Actually, the LT1 and LT4 were the last of that line of basic design. 
The LS motors don't share anything with the old design. I don't think 
there are any 60's era (design wise) motors any more and the 4.0 six was 
likely the last of them (Ford Windsor went away mid-90's, Chrysler LA 
around 2003 or 4).
