[Amc-list] Mad at the local Napa Service Center, urgh!!!

Got all the parts in to rebuild the rear brakes. Got one drum off Thursday and brought it in to be turned. My son got the second drum off today, so we dropped by to check progress on the first drum and get them started on the second. They're closed Saturdays. I'm not upset about that. I am a little upset that I told the desk guy that I needed them by Saturday morning so I could do the brakes, and he never mentioned they weren't open Saturdays and never called on Friday to say if the original drum was done, was in spec, out of spec or whatever.

So - Monday morning I will pick up the drum and take it to the Saturn dealer my son works at. I'll have all the drums turned at the dealer and steer clear of the Napa Service Center.

That said - we do have springs kits, shoes with pads, master cylinders and hoses. Waiting on the TSM (I ordered it late - that's my bad)and waiting on drums to be turned.

Once we get the rear brakes settled, we'll do the front. Can't wait!
