Guy I knew 20 years ago, Name was Art Colussey[SP?]] was a factory rep, then a tech trainer. Sometime in around 80-85 he found 6 1/4 panels for AMX's in one of the parts warehouses. Quickly bought them all for about $60 a piece.
IIRC, kept one and sold the rest for either $300 or 600 each.
   If he is still around I bet he too is kicking himself for not hanging onto them for a few more years!
Same guy collected 2 seaters till he had the whole set! Then after detailing them and sitting on them a few years sold them all and built his new house. 
   Last I heard he had started to collect one or two and had even managed to gets his hands on what was believed to be the very first Renault Alliance convertible built. He bought it off the back lot of a dealer that had been unable to sell it due to lack of demand. He paid about $600 for it, untitiled.

   I wonder what ever happened to him? Anyone ever hear of him or know?
I'm not sure how much older then me he was, so I'd not doubt that he has crossed over by now.
