You hit a dead spot in my manual collection! I have the 40-48 manual, and pick back up at 1952 (1950 Rambler). You might want to go over to the Nash club (www.nashcarclub.org) and see if you can find an answer.

  As in, does the whole column have to come out, or
can the instrument cluster pod be removed without
removing the whole column? If so, what tools might be
needed for this operation? Thanks for any assistance.
