I went and read it too, your right, but it's like talking to a politician or an unscrupulous seller.
It says "most".... 
   Meaning there are some that don't use atf.....
Remember tremecs primary interest is in selling new transmissions now.
The non wolrd class has been out of production for over 10 years now. The earliest ones have been out since 82 some 25 years. 
  I bet they didn't ven know what atf was back then! That was back when You had to unlock a car with a keay and use those silly rod knob things to get the windows down by hand! 
I'm not flaming here, just rambling on. My 01 Dakota has NO KEYLESS ENTRY, NO POWER LOCKS, NO POWER WINDOWS, NO CRUISE, NO TILT. I actually have gotten quite used to it again and the one thing I truly enjoy is that if it isn't there, it ain't going to break!!!
