Tire to spring clearance. There's a whole Honda-Civic-trunk-space under each 
front fender, but the tire rides close to the spring. 

I did a quick mockup to make sure that my new upper trunnion bolt hack clears 
the tires (it does) but I can't find the photos to see how MUCH tire 
clearance there was...
