That was a cool, cop car, sleeper.
It was running a big 429 or 460 and a 4 speed in a four
door ltd with fat tires and dogdish caps!
I always wanted that car!

A friend bought one of those cars with the Interceptor 429 in it for $125!

BIB MOPAR's, Blues Bros specials. NEW YORK STATE Police

LAPD Street Cops, and California Highway Patrol. (CHIPs) 

I was there when the last of the BIG MOPAR's were in use, they was a 

decided attempt to keep them in service as long as they possibly could! 

'Cause the replacements had trouble running down a tricycle. 

I remember seeing one sitting at in intersection idling with smoke coming

out of every seam in the hood and any other location. It was not long 

after that when anemia set in, but I still wanted an old Big Mopar Cop Car. 

Never got one though.
