Thought that might be the case, so I warned you!!  :-) 

You're correct on the 63 American gas tank -- all the Americans are the same, everything on a 63 is the same as a 62 UNLESS you have a hardtop -- then the roof panel and rear side windows are different, and I'm pretty sure (without checking parts book) that the rear glass is unique to that body.
