I took the complete dash out the first time I tried to reglue my crash pad. my Javelin doesn't have air so it wasn't that hard. Just take your time. Armand had a very good description for pulling it off without removing the dash. First I dropped the steering column, then marked and disconnected as much as I could get to from under the dash - headlight switch, wipers, dash light, ect. Then take out the moulding screws along the top of the dash by the windshield. There are two screws just above the kickpanels and it should start to pull out. If you want do like I did and take pictures, digital cameras are great for tearing cars apart. It also helps if your pulling the dash out to have an extra set of hands, but just watch for any connections as you take it out. An air conditioned dash is more difficult because of the line that runs to the weather eye. I have to take mine out again to put in the new pad I got from Kennedy's, looks great but I can't say how everything lines up yet. It'll make the interior look so much better.
