Tom,

This isn't quite correct (or at least somewhat misleading). Bendix and 
Wagner wheel cylinders do not interchange. The two obvious differences I 
found was that Bendix wheel cylinders will not sit flush on Wagner 
backing plates (I thin the Bendix cylinder was fatter than the Wagner) 
and they are also shaped differently since Bendix brakes use small rods 
to contact the shoes and on Wagner brakes, the shoes touch the pistons 
directly. The shoes are also different enough (besides the area near the 
wheel cylinders) that Bendix shoes will not even fit on Wagner backing 
plates.
