Re: [Amc-list] Trannies - con't

My opinion of the AW4 is simple. It is one of the best trannies out there for what it was designed for.
Period.
Over power it, break it, wear it out with no maintenance and it is a throw away...

I, as many may have realized, do not like automatic trannies.
I hate something that decides what gear it should be in and how hard it should shift to get there...
Even with my crappy shoulder I still cringe when I think of trading my Dakota to get another automatic to drive!

Ambassador is likely to going to run a manual valve bodied turbo 400 now that I've decided to conserve my energy and not build the second American. That way if my shoulder gets too bad I can always put a regular valve body back in it or atleast I'm only moving one click at a time!!!
