we haven't been listening in the same places...  over amongst the
jeep crowd it has a much better rep than the 42le.  its high
efficiency converter doesn't give you the torque multiplication the
mopar tranny does, but that's about the biggest negative i've been
able to find.

The NAXJ.org guys like 'em - beat the crap out of 
on a regular basis.

Only things I'd heard that I know not about is
lack of Filter >?<  

AS always - use a HUGE cooler and a Thermostatic by pass.

The 200R is preferable to the 700R4 in that it takes 
a whopping lot less of HP/Tq to spin.

I would not ever use a GV overdrive now that the AW4 or
it's 2wd cousin is available - the weight factor alone
is stupid - the Lexus freaks running the 700R4 on
Twin Turbo LS430 coupes are experiencing vibration with
their GV set ups.


If you blow up an AW4 - go to NAXJA.org - post and get
another one cheapie cheap.
