the t14 fits t96 bells - at least, '63-up with the rear mount on the
tranny.  afaik the two lower bolts are ~1" higher up on earlier t96s
and bells with the rear mount on the bell.

someone out there with a multipattern bell: two of the patterns are
t14 [t96] and sr4/t4/t5.  if you could doc where those patterns are in
relation to each other, making an adapter for the mid-'90s mustang 3.8
t5 would be easy.  this box has an input shaft ~2/3" longer than the
pre-'93 5.0 and amc t5s; that's just enough for a plate to put it on
an early bell...
