[Amc-list] collector car insurance

Hello again.  I had my'59 american insured with Hagerty. When I had gotten 
the policy, they had asked how much I would ask for if I were selling it. I 
said $8000.00.  It cost about $250.00 per year. That includes towing for the 
'59 and my regular car.  The next year some kid ran a light and totaled my 
little American. Hagerty looked at the damage(a picture), called me the next 
day and said my check for $8000.00 was in the mail. Now they knew I couldn't 
really get eight for my "59. But they asked me what I felt it was worth.   
Try to get service like anywhere else.  Oh,and by the way my rates didn't go 
up the next year for the '63 convertible that I bought wiyh the proceeds.
