There's a bag company out that advertises that their bags "do not change diameter" I can't remember which one it is though. The Firestone bags will expand in all directions when inflated. Narrow bags that don't expand could likely be found for Americans and Javelin/AMX's if you don't buy cheap bags. It would be fairly easy to build a mounting plate for the top of the trunnion on the small car trunions. just a cup that would sit over the trunion. You could even offset it slightly toward the inner fender if needed. As far as bag diameters, now that may be the killer. I haven't looked to see how narrow they come. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: farna@xxxxxxx > Date: Mon, 14 May 2007 00:56:20 +0000 > From: "dan whitehead" <freebird_58@xxxxxxxxxxx> > > I was wondering if upper a-arms were made to change out the trunnions, if a > coil over type shock or air ride suspension could be used instead of the > large spring.
