Using a tubular a-arm could give more space for the shock to mount through. Just a thought, and I know the trunnions aren't much different for handling. ------------------------------------------ Dan, it wouldn't be hard to use a coil over or air bag with trunnions. Well, the 64-69 Amer/Jave/AMX trunnion is closer to the tire than big cars, so it is hard to use an air bag with them, but a coil over mount would be easy enough to make. The shock can stay in the stock position. The stock upper shock mount WILL NOT hold the weight of the car -- a coil over shock would have to be mounted in place of the spring. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
