I'm in Illinois (south side of Chicago) so it's good to have more local folks around.  Local meaning generally in the midwest!

If you want an inexpensive AMC, watch chicago.craigslist.org to watch for the guy in Beecher (about 40 minutes due south of Chicago) who keeps posting very inexpensive AMCs for sale.  For instance, recently he listed an '83 (?) Eagle wagon for $250, but it had a busted steering column, otherwise he was it was in good, running order.

If you're interested in an older AMC, I have several '59 - '62 Rambler big body cars that I could possibly part with. Now that I'm at 5 '62s, I realise that too much of a good thing can get to be a bit overwhelming!  And, that said, why did I buy ANOTHER one this past Saturday???

After a long hiatus, I'm back.  I've moved to just
outside of Rockford, IL.  Currently, I'm AMCless.  I'm
looking for a CHEAP AMC.  Preferably an 80-83 2 door
Concord, but willing to consider other 2 doors but
they MUST be close to me and not be completely rusted.


I'm wanting to put in to this car a mildly built 360
with a 700R4 behind it.  Nothing like overdrive with
$20 a gallon gas.  lol
