Didn't go to a show because you didn't have time to prep it? I saw a
local show a couple miles from the house on the way home from an early
dinner. Got in the Rambler and drove right over!  If it will start and
go it's prepped! You got a garage queen or something? Didn't you know
Ramblers are rare enough that they get a lot of attention even if in
need of a bath? And you had the nerve to say that sissies had a little
more air intake hose in their cars!!  Sissies won't take their car out
to a show because a bird crapped on it on the way over... 

 

You know I'm just kidding!! But really, though it's not perfect, or
needs a wash, get it out there! I washed mine Friday, but it had the
light yellow "sheen" on it from all the pollen. Took it anyway, and had
several people checking it out but good!  One guy asked me to open the
hood... was expecting to see a 4.6L Ford V-8 and got a little surprise!
Maybe I need to put a different sticker on the back, something other
than just "4.6L Fuel Injection". Something like "4.6L EFI AMC Six" would
be better...
