yes, the autos are different; aluminum and iron warners.  the aluminum
tranny is stretching to cover a 300-inch motor; the iron one is good
for 400 and more.

quickly -
side loader - t89, 327
top loader - t86, 287

i believe the same bell and bolt pattern were used for the t98 and t10.
