Not sure who all wanted a Eagle grille, but you have a variety of options 
instead of eggcrates as original. There are some great early 80-81 Eagle 
grilles, also Spirit AMX grilles and Spirit grilles bolt right in, and use 
existing headlight doors. the eggcrate grille itself is AMC part number 
3745553; you will find it on page X6; 55.80.1. If you need a factory 
illustration from the book, email me directly below and simply request it 
and I'll take a quick photo and email it back to you. It also shows bracket, 
support, screw, nut, panel, bolt, and what not. The next page is really neat 
as it shows all the original emblems a Eagle got: Eagle; 4WheelDrive; 
Limited: Sport: AMC/I; that Eagle head thing between the doors. quite a neat 
double illustrated page!

I have three Eagles, driven daily, two have AMX grilles, one has a Spirit 
grille, if you want photos of those to let me know could give you some 
ideas.....
