giving me a reason to argue with the wife why I need a NEW cam too !!

 It still makes more sense to
spend another 100 bucks or what ever to get a more reliable set up.

Thanks for your comment also Frank. I didn't get down the 
list to your post till after I sent the other one.

I think I'll leave the original cam in the engine and just put the 
performer intake and small 4 bbl, a set of headers and dual 
exhaust and call it good for now.
