OK all this talk of brakes got me off my butt and I replaced the wrong rear wheel cylinders in my Hornet for the right ones. I'd bought 'em last summer. Before I did the deed I verified the bores w/a caliper: wrong size: .875" 7/8" (14/16") right size: .8125" 13/16" Before, the rears locked up too early, especially if wet. Now, front rear balance on dry is PERFECT, just perfect. The car stops as fast or faster than any car I've had, and in a dead-straight line right on the verge of losing the contact patch. If anyone wants the 7/8" rear wheel cylinders, they're yours for $7 for shipping cost. They're 2 years old maybe, and I change brake fluid yearly. They'll just rust if I store them here. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
