Wanted: The correct screws (3) that hold the 1970 AMX turn signal switch
into the steering column, or information where to find them. The entire

Hi All! While blowing an afternoon off at a u-pull it yard here in
Albuquerque I came across a 67 Rambler Rebel wagon. Now, the car has some
damage on the passenger side, but it has a lovely rust free tailgate and
drivers side sheetmetal, including the rear quarter. Looks like someone beat
me to the interior, as that was picked over, but it looked like the car was
never abused. If anyone would like me to check on it, send me an email, as I
end up out and about frequently. I can get a price on it and shipping. Even
though I mostly am a F**d guy, I felt this was too good to waste on the
crusher. Bill Karpee bigmercs@xxxxxxxxxxx

Rich,
I am assuming you are referring to the 360-390 head
and not the smaller engines. That being said, what
you want to do is take a head gasket and scribe the
inner diameter on the head where the valve meets the
edge of the chamber. Remove most of this material
transitioning your port work into the floor of the
chamber. Smooth out as much of the material that is
constricting the air flow so the that intake and
exhaust gasses can freely move around the entire
circumference of the valve. Best way to do this if to
have your machinist cut the material out with their
mill and then smooth it out and polish with a dremel
or die grinding tool.
