Re: [AMC-List] Eagle Premier

A: The 3.8 had more power and was more technologically advanced than the 3.0L (which had probs with valve guides and seals) even though it was a pushrod motor like the 3.3l (I have a '93 Grand Voyager with the 3.3L and a good O/D auto in it. Motor runs rough, partially due to brake fluid getting into the cyls from a bad brake booster/master and maybe a bent pushrod or two. It STINKS on startup, but I was going to fix it for a single mom friend of mine. Alas, she doesn't have the $$ to eefect repairs on it, so I'm trying to resell it for the $200 I have into it. It came from Montana originally and hasn't been transferred to here yet as it won't pass the emission test)

That's funny my dad had a 3.0 in a Caravan and he hated
Premiers!
TEE HEE!
I don't think he was fond of the 3.0 van either. He said his 3.8
[IIRC?] vans ran better and got the same or better mileage!
