A friend is building up a 66 Rambler in the northern IL area and would like to put a four barrel manifold on the 327 v-8. Do these exist and does anyone have one for sale?

ALSO a question... Is there anyone who would have rocker panels for an 80
Concord Wagon? Probably not but my body guy said that would be the easiest
way to replace the rusted ones, or does anyone have some good ones off
another car? Are the rocker panels specific to the wagon as they appear to
be, or what others could be used?

Thanks again for all!
Go Cordova!

i can answer half your questions - yes, 4bbl intakes do exist, and the
factory carb was a holley. iirc the 327 was rated 270hp with them.

They come up on EvilBay once in a while. I have an ongoing project to
adapt a Performer intake but have not gotten beyond fabricating the
templates for the adapter plates. Once I get the 66 back into the toy
garage and get to finishing it then I will get serious about the intake
swap.

Greg Taylor used to have a lot of info on the 327 and Flint, over on the
FSJ boards, has recreated a lot of his material as a reference.

Greetings AMC Listers...
I have an Offering for anyone with Courage and Room...and can Weld.
1962 Rambler 400 Convertible.
Town coming down on me, I'm unable to fight them (*Post Surgery by
two
weeks, next surgery Monday Next*)... So, anyone interested in Saving
this,
Give me a CALL 802 310 9639 Cell so we can discuss 'adoption' terms.
I
need to recover some of the gold I've got into it, but $200 for the
car
should induce someone to lust for a Breadbox Convertible. Rust in
Front
Chassis Rails, Floors need help. Original Black Paint. New Top NOT
installed but goes. New Grille. Some additional parts as well. DOES
NOT
RUN, but does crank. (Not Seized). Please, someone, Give this Baby a
well
deserved Home. It is more than I can handle right now, and I'm
unlikely to
be 'fixed' (MY body) anytime soon, if ever, so.....

Thanks,
Jerijan

On the Concord rocker panels, while i can't help you unless you buy my whole
74 Hornet Sportabout wagon for $575
http://epage.com/js/mi/n0/1621044.html
you might try Mike at 505-443-3400 as he has a number of AMC wagons in rust
free New Mexico. Also, J C Whitney has generic rockers up near you, might be
enough sheetmetal for your applications perhaps?

Yes, four barrel manifolds are available for the AMC 287 and 327 V8. You
might try Greg Taylor on my Planet Houston Vendors List

up in MI who specializes in the older gen AMC V8s, he should be able to help
