that sounds right to me.  also used in jeeps [incl. some xj] to '86.

wow.  i always thought it was gm 1 1/8 x 10 even though i knew it was
ford -length-.

.590".  you must be thinking of toyota because ford is 0.670", except
4-cyl sr4/t4/t5 apps which are...  0.590"!  they're also [t5s anyway]
a touch longer, 7.41" vs. 7.18" and have gm retainer dia iirc.  afaik
only v8 and v6 t5s have 'traditional' ford dimensions on the retainer
and input shaft.
