Re: [AMC-List] my 62 classic project

USE an AMC disc. Early 70's Jeep and AMC applications show a 1 X 1 1/16" disc in 10.5" diameter.
I found the listing on RAMS website. I've not done the actual application discovery process to get a "stock" replacement clutch yet. I believe it is a T-10 disc. John Elle said he did not have ot replace is disc when he changed over from T-10 to T-5 so that is why I'm assuming that. John also said the some of the Ford discs don't work right because of hub placement and he recomends always getting the AMC disc or being very carefull to check clearances if using a Ford disc. I've been told that Fords discs work fine by others, So what ever you choose to do, check it carefully. If your buying parts for later assembly, Which can make returning items troblesome, I'd get a set from RAM or another, not Centerforce, performance company.
