" From: "Armand Eshleman" <aje1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> " " " " " Joe, " [] " To answer your questions; Yes the bell housings are the same after I believe " 1972, that's right " when AMC made V-8 and I-6 bell housings interchangeable. I used the bell " from a 1979 304 AMX with the SR-4 transmission. The front bearing retainer on " the T5 will need to be machined to fit the bell or use a GM T5 retainer. maybe also a -4-cyl- ford t5 retainer; i believe they're like the sr4, smaller than the 5.0 one. " The clutch disc will need to have a 1-1/16 ten spline hole. this could be from a t150 3sp application. you'll also want the t150 pilot bushing, as the 5.0 t5 pilot is this size. ________________________________________________________________________ Andrew Hay the genius nature internet rambler is to see what all have seen adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and think what none thought
